District swimming gala team managers report

Swimming under their previous banner of 1st North Springfield (Sharks), the explorers came 1st in the 1 length freestyle, 3rd in the 1 length breaststroke. Another 1st place came from one of the 1st North Springfield Scouts swimming in the under 16 1 length backstroke. These three were then joined by another of the explorers to win the under 16 4x1 freestyle relay team. Consequently, the team defended the under 16 overall trophy it has held for the last two years.

In the under 14 Scout Section, 1st North Springfield entered two teams, the Sharks and the Dolphins. The Sharks gained first place in the 1 length freestyle, 2nd in the 1 length breaststroke and 3rd in the one length backstroke.
